- The easiest way is to fasten the wire mesh structure to the tension wires with wire attachment pliers. The wire mesh and the tension wire can be joined permanently with one wire staple. The mesh structure should be fastened to the tension wires at two points between each two posts, to prevent the fence from bulging or sagging.
